Peace peace…Recorded for ‘LOWER’, definitely fun, kinda the companion piece to ‘Shake’ from ‘The Tinkerer’. Just a dirty, techno fonkin, poppin, lockin ass shaker…Twerk fummy.
Anyway, up until about 10 days ago, it was the second track on the album…now, it’s a bonus track or sumn. I dig it, personally, but had to accept that within the concept of the ALBUM I was trying to make, it didn’t work as well as I wanted it to.
I moved it around in the sequence, I remixed it, I rethought it…just couldn’t find a way to make it work for ‘LOWER’ when it was all said and done…
…still want y’all to hear it tho…

Mr. Kinetik is rocking a show with the phenomenal Tiara Thomas, #aswell as the UBERtalented Naz Khalid & Renee King. The homey DJ MetroGnome will be on turntable duties #also. That goes down THIS Wednesday, November 23 at The Jazz Kicthen, 8 PM start-time.
Everyone in the crew has been remaining productive and actively promoting the work. A-Sky just played his first solo show to a very appreciative audience. Rocked that shit. Dotta and our homey from upstate NY, GM, have begun working on a project of some sort (man, these things just HAPPEN sometimes; we let it take shape as it forms).
Son Of Thought continues to rip stages and produce new works, recently entering the studio with Lonegevity to put some heat to tracks. alpha.live is in California repping the team out West and helping Dope Couture continue their march towards world dominance.
We support all these things. These things make US ‘US’.
