When I say I just finished this, I mean…I JUST finished it…I may add it to the album as a bonus track. This is kinda how this album fell together for me, man. It’s a trip.
When I tell you I had no idea I was gonna make an album at home last week, I really mean it. It literally fell outta the sky and created itself. I can’t wait for you to hear the whole thing. It’s my first effort at musical production and I’ve never had a set of songs basically write themselves as these did, I have no musical training or equipment, and it happened in seven days. 16 tracks in 7 days, produced, written, recorded, and mixed by yours truly.
God made me funky.
I can already tell you I am hella proud of ‘The Tinkerer’ for a lotta reasons…I wanted to give you a listen to what ‘The Tinkerer’ is about. Stay tuned…It was an amazing week, but I’m back to the world, now. Hi.
Check this track out, it’s an extended version of ‘High Chops’ which is on ‘The Tinkerer’…and yes, I’m rappin like a mug on that piece, but I wanted to give you a taste of some of my production style and influences.
Next from @ATFU_ - E Dot Spencer’s ‘Born To Fly’. I didn’t even know I was making an album until Thursday of last week. We’ll come up with a release date in time, but I’m crazy excited about what I did with this noggin and these hands.
